Not every man wants to talk — and that’s okay. The Grumpy Men’s Club is a place where you don’t have to. It’s about turning up, having something good to eat, sharing a laugh, and realising you’re not on your own.
We meet the second Wednesday of every month from 6pm to 8pm at The Grumpy Cook. There’s no pressure, no judgment, and absolutely no cost — it’s completely free.
Whether you come for the food, the company, or just to get out of the house for a couple of hours, you’ll find a warm welcome waiting. Some chat, some listen, some just enjoy being part of something. However you take part, you’ll be among friends who understand that life can be tough but a good meal and good company can make a world of difference.
Because sometimes, a cuppa and conversation can do more good than anyone realises.
Our next meet-up is on Wednesday 12th November, 6pm–8pm.
There’s no need to book — just turn up, grab a seat, and enjoy the evening.
The Grumpy Men’s Club complements other great local initiatives such as Talk Club and is run in conjunction with Mr. Men’s Room Hastings & St Leonards — all working together to support men’s mental health and wellbeing across our town.
If you’d like to find out more or volunteer to help at future sessions, pop into The Grumpy Cook or message us on Facebook.
You’re not alone — come and be part of something that makes a difference.
